How to enable the mobile site
Mr_Tom
New
I just installed Vanilla forum today. I'm looking at it on my cell phone (htc sensation running android) and I'm not seeing a mobile version. Do I have to enable it somewhere or is this a plugin? Thanks.

Welcome to the community.
Which theme are you using?
Typically, Vanilla delivers a mobile version without you having to change any settings.
I'm using +Baselineversion 2.1.3 with the stock browser app for android
Thanks.
Which device are you using?
On my test site, baseline gives the mobile version.
Do you have a folder 'mobile' in your themes folder?
I've tested it on the htc sensation with android and iphone 5
In addition to what whu606 says
also may be user-agent

Can you use a different browser on your phone? Or start a "incognito" session? Maybe you have chosen to see the default view. As I've said above, I see the mobile theme in your forum (from Opera mobile)
Clear the cookies and such from your cell phone. You may be seeing a cached version. It is a good idea to delete all .ini files from the cache folder if you edit themes or plugins.

I installed that plugin for Firefox and did see the mobile version after adding a few user agents. That's a helpful plugin that's for sending that over. I also installed a few new browsers on my android cell including opera, firefox and UC. It worked on all of those also. I'll apply the fix for profilecontrolller later but for what I'm doing now it's ok just knowing how the mobile site works/looks. Thanks for the help.
