Panel Footer Copyright Information?

edited July 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I found in the language file where you can change the copyright information (and links) on the left sidebar so you can add your own copyright line (for the content) and other links giving credit. However, I it did not change the panels (such as signup, login, etc) footer credit line. The one with Lussomo, Swell and people line. One, I need to change that because I am picky. It's now 2006 so that needs to be changed to 2001-2006, and I need to add our credit line as well. So where do you change that part? I have looked and looked and can't find it.

  • Where does the date come into it? Are you running v1?
  • Yes, I am running the lastest version. It clearly states: Lussumo Vanilla, Swell, and People Copyright © 2001-2005 Since it's now 2006 that needs to be updated, and coming up on 2007. In addition I want to add a second line to it to include our copyright and homepage link.

    /themes/people_foot.php

EDIT: The panel text, which may also be a good place for a copyright notice, is found in /languages/English/definitions.php
  • Thanks, Wallphone. LOL! Eventually I might have made it there, but it was alot of searching. I appreciate it. I found the other in languages and added our two-bits, but just couldn't find this one. :)
  • Oh, and you might also want to copy the changed files into your own theme and language files--otherwise, if you update vanilla, the update will write over your changes.

WallPhone, where does one copy the changed files to?
