Adding HTML banner on discussion page

hi,

I would like to display affiliate banner which comes in HTML format on my " Recent Discussions " page (which happens to be my home page). Kindly suggest a method to do the same.

You can use the plugin Pockets or use the Messages you can create in the dashboard under Messages.

The one which resembles it the most is button bar plugin. The editor here is special an not available as open source yet.
