Permission problem aka "am i an idiot"

I get "permission problem" when I try to access /settings/van2shout . I feel like there's something easy I need to do to fix this ... ?

Yes go in dashboard and set the permissions click Roles and Permissions and edit those Roles you want to give permission by checking the permission.

Oh sorry, I should have been more clear - the problem is that I can't access the "Van2Shout" settings link under "Addons" in the dashboard panel. I'm logged in as an admin user and have all permissions selected for myself.

also make sure the file folder name matches the Van2Shout - match the case exactly.

Ok since the author is away, I can share this copy which works for me . Just make sure you disable the plugin and delete the folder then upload this one. Let me know if it works for you. That way we can rule out this plugin if my copy does not work for you either.

or you login as the "Root" admin the first admin without those changes.

tip:

don't ever use  $Sender->Permission('Garden.Plugins.Manage');
unless you only want the root admin have permission.
