Users do not see profile details after login

When a user signs-up or logs-in on my forum on mobile or desktop, they do not see they're profile name and picture instantly after. They still see the welcome message with the join register buttons. Once they navigate to a post, they then see their profile though. Should a page refresh happen after login? Thanks.

Yes. There is most likely an error with a plugin or javascript.

Turn on debugging and report back with the error message you are getting when trying to log in. Also look in the browser console (F12) for errors.

Thanks. The only error I'm seeing in the chrome console is : Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_MISS
On turned on the debug plugin but did not know where to look in there for errors.

Sorry, the Debug plugin is not what I meant. You need to enable the config option. Read this:

OK Thanks. I've enabled debug. now I'm seeing this on the forum home page.
Need to re-index theme cache
Need to re-index plugin cache

I just created a test account and was able to successfully log in.
