It's a great theme but unfortunately it's kinda broken on 2.1.

Thanks. That one was broken on my install too. What I decided to do was just start with the Boostrap theme and modify it to look as close to the vforg theme as I could. I think it'll end up being less time consuming and troublesome in the end seeing that it was written specifically for 2.1 instead of 2.0.
It is 5 years since that has been updated, I would consider it abandoned.

That may be true but themes can be updated easy to work again. This theme works too but they did not want to be helped to fix it so they chose another.
