Does anyone know a safe way to delete the entire change log without going through each page one-by-one?

currently the change log is not being functionally used for anything other than restoring older edits, although it does contain other info that is not being used as of yet.
so I use this all the time without issue.

in addition I use this as well for activity.

you can use cron to do these things. personally I like the plugins, because you are in control and can verify immediately after wards while you are online.
also please foowup on other discussions - re: did cleanser ultimately work for you.
also did you figure out the sendpm vs debugging enabled.

I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.

Thanks @peregrine. I disabled the SendPM plugin for now since, as you discovered, it was the cause of the errors. I'll circle back to it later if I need to, but for the moment I'm gonna leave it off.
