Information on moving from IP boards to Vanilla Forums
Howdy Folks,
Where is the best/most current information on transitioning from IP boards (older version, 3.1.x) to Vanilla forums? I have a moderate sized forum with about 80k posts and a few thousand user accounts I do not want to lose.
As an unrelated question - where is the best place to find themes for Vanilla/documentation on creating a custom theme?
Thanks for your time,
~Jeff

It should be as simple as downloading the and running the porter:
http://vanillaforums.org/addon/porter-coredocumentation:
http://docs.vanillaforums.com/developers/importing/porter/Looks like there is also an
avatarpath
setting for IP boards, so to process avatars you will have to append?avatarpath=/path/to/avatars
to the url.As an unrelated question - where is the best place to find themes for Vanilla/documentation on creating a custom theme?
