Category Menu Doesn't Work

My forum won't allow me to post because the category menu won't allow me to select a category. Is there something I can do about this? Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi

    In Dashboard - Forum - Categories I think you've got Display Root Categories as Headings ticked.

    Untick it, and you should be OK.
