Problems with 2.1.8

I have up-graded to 2.1.8p1: I was nearing to go live and noticed that when trying to post a new discussion, the "Post Discussion" the button is missing or has it been renamed to "Ask a Question" ? I have disabled all my plugins and Applications and tried + baseline and Bitter Sweet themes and it still the same. see photo.

Have you changed something in your translation recently?

See if deleting the .ini files in the cache folder changes anything.

That happens when you are using the Q&A plugin.

All plugin are disabled, I don't have Q&A installed. I have not put any code anywhere, I have deleted the .ini files and it's still the same.

vrijvlinder, you gave me the idea to install Q&A it's not compatible it's puts the text links at the top left. Screen shot with Bitter Sweet theme, maybe FTP the core 2.1.8 again.

No , That is a theme thing I believe. Try my BetterBitter theme.

You don't have Q&A installed maybe you need to re upload as you say.. coz even parts of the me menu are missing

Yes I have re-uploaded but still the same. Maybe i'll try 2.1.7 and see if that's ok

This is a locale issue.

One of you locale files has a wrong translation.

No don't do that the update was for a reason. It was a critical security update and going back to 2.1.7 is not a good idea.

I wanted to see if it corrected it's self, so went back to 2.1.6 was all ok, then 2.1.7 and all ok and then 2.1.8p1 and now the it's ok and says "Post Discussion" it must be a plugin that I installed, so I will check through the plugins as in enable them.

All back to normal don't know what caused the problem, i enabled the plugins slowly but could not replete the error.
