How to setup traditional style forum?

What I mean is something like this: https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/
I am wondering how to create something like this. Where there's a category header for various categories like in the example forum " Star Citizen " or " Star Citizen Community. " I was wondering how to do that.

hey @KopaceticMusic ,
this is simple enough. Just go to dashboard -> forum -> categories and under Category Page Layout, just enable Display root categories as headings.
I've setup a temp example here, scroll down below and you can see I have set this to display this way.
