  • the engine can be more or less efficient at different speed, but you need a longer acceleration, and use more energy to move the air when go faster.
  • That's not the point, though, dinoboff. I would use less petrol driving 10 miles at 60mph than at 30mph because i'd be using less than double the amount of fuel for half the amount of time.
  • looking at the thread title. if you could fly off into space, in your lightening fast super super vanilla powered spaceship, would you ever reach the end of space? OR, would you, like we do on earth, come back eventually to the same spot? PS - i am going to open my red wine, while ye ponder these and other great mysteries of our life and times.
