Change colors - make everything red which is now blue?

BAM! I had a forum before I knew! Great so far.

But from there things slowed down somehow. I use dark reds on white on my regular page and would like to duplicate the appearance on Vanilla. May be even have the same background outside the container which on my regular page uses a tiled pattern. Is there an easy way to do this? I do not know much about css and html, but I can figure out the hex codes for the colors I need.

The next step will involve file attachments and the one after that integrating static pages into the forum. I have no clue there, either!

To find which elements need editing, use a web inspector such as Firebug for Firefox.
