    I can't see why not. It's probably really simple, most likely a case of modifying that extension.

    Think I might put this on my blog! But for Vanilla, it's harder.... would you need to upload the mp3 file at the same time... or are you just playing something that's already online?

    I agree, this really needs to be ported with a settings link on the panel where in settings where you can select the filepath you want it to retrieve the mp3's.

    it might be spam but 'Maryli" is somehow in the right direction. put mp3 in flash to your lussumo forum, make small and lightweight css, use it with your mobile phone. podcast, share music with yor friends etc

    A friend pointed me to the dewplayer which also plays mp3 files. There is a wp plugin for it, but it doesn't work for me. So, I embeded the <object></object> tags per the instructions and it works fine in WP in a post or page. I wasn't able to get it to work in a comment in Vanilla. I did get it to work on a Page. The object and iframe tags work very well in a Page to display flash stuff.
