Locale setup
I downloaded "Français (Canada) / French (Canada) 2015.03.20p1101" and three other language addons and then extracted them in the /locales/ file as instructed.
I then logged out of my Vailla install and logged back in.
When I then go back to "Vanilla --> Dashboard --> Addons --> Locales", the only language file I could select from from the "Default Local" selection box was still the language used when I initially installed Vanilla: "en-CA".
What next should I do to display the other languages choices extracted under Vanilla's /locales/ sub-folder?

I forgot to mention that I am using Vanilla 2.1.9.
Did you enable the locales?
delete the .ini files from the forum cache .... anytime you update files or edit files...

There was a problem with the extraction of the downloaded files. It is now fixed. With properly extracted language files, my test Vanilla forum site is now trilingual as intended.
