  • Okay ... I've still got a LOT to do on this ... and if I really wanted to I'd write this as an extension ... and make use of Mark's functions & framework. But I'm a slack prick ... http://studiowhiz.com/vanillaExtras/invision_vanilla0_1.zip - I wouldn't recommend it just yet unless you are 1) familiar with PHP 2) familiar with phpMyAdmin 3) familiar with mySQL 4) have a FULL backup of your Invision Forums 5) have an empty vanilla install - these scripts WILL destroy any data in your Vanilla install!! NOTE: these scripts will OVERRIDE your php.ini file timeout - they will run until they stop, even if you close the browser - USE WITH CAUTION! I've only just started on the cleanUp scripts .. they are SLOW I reimported my 56 000 odd posts, running them through a very basic script to replace [ol],[/ol] it takes over 544 seconds TO USE: 1: Edit config.php with your details 2: upload all to your server 3: run importUsers.php first 4: run importForums.php next 5: run importTopics.php next 6: run importPosts.php next 7: run reSync.php last But I'm warning you ... you do this at your own risk he he he
  • shouldn't it be more Muhahahahah

  • Okay an update for you all ... I've got it 95% done ... I'm just wrapping it into a nice script to take you step by step through the process I do have it cleaning up some of the Invision Tags etc (I ripped some of the functionality out of the Invision Kernal) I'll package it and release the script soon
  • Sounds good to me!
  • Nice to see big forums using Vanilla! Keep up the good work! :)
  • I like that quoting could almost stay as it is now. Quite readable. <!--quoteo(post=66676:date=Jun 26 2006, 01:43 AM:name=Mr K)--> QUOTE(Mr K @ Jun 26 2006, 01:43 AM) 66676 <!--quotec-->he he eh I've just added new content to the home page ...[/quote]
  • still, little question marks inside the text ------> Now its time to start putting it together, so lets build our index page. Its a very simple page that shows how we put together a page for this site.
  • Nice to see that someone is working on an IPB to Vanilla script! Should this will work with IPB 1.3 then I'm a happy camper. :)
