How to make some links to be dofollow links within the forum

Hello everybody. I have noted with much appreciation that all external links within the vanilla forum are don't follow links. How can I make some of them to be do follow. I would like to make some backlinks to the sites that feed my forum as they also give me do follow links. I have searched in the forum and I have not found any solution for that.
If possible can I make all links within my discussions to be "do follow". I have a highly moderated forum and I wouldn't mind. Is there a plugin or something in the config file and so forth where I can do that? Thanks for you help
Since I have asked 2 things in this discussion I would like to clarify that the first solution would be better (make some links to be dofollow). If that is not possible/easy then I can still do with all links in the discussion to be dofollow.
