Right Panel?

Would it be possible to write an Add-on that adds a right hand panel, in addition to the left-hand panel?

    I think you would have to make a theme/style with a right hand panel in order for extensions to utilize it.

    well it would be harer for that. A) you would need to add it to your theme B) There would be no way other than manually of telling extensions to use the right one not the left one i tihnk

    Immersion: Huh? It would be the same panel, just displayed over on the other side.

    It would require making a new mirrored shadow image, editing some margins, and floating the panel on the other side. Not really that hard.

    I understood having a three-column layout. I suppose a panel position number above some threashold could indicate which items go to the right.

He means 3 collumns! Yeah spose it could wallphone. Next think you know someone will write a extension that means you can control the positioning of blocks using ajax.
