How do I change the Favicon?

I would like my website's (https://pchope.tk) favicon to be the one located here: https://pchope.tk/download/favicon2.ico (just right click>save image as to download it).

Could you please tell me how I could do that?
Note: I use Vanilla 2.1.10

In the /public_html/themes/default/design folder I have replaced favicon.png with my own favicon linked above.
I've also purged the Vanilla cache and deleted my browser's cache.

Follow those instructions and check the Homepage section in your Dashboard. You have a spot to upload a favicon.
