header ? yay or nay ?

hey, i jsut started my theme (private) for my site http://www.forummods.net/vanilla/ just like to know what you think of the header bit. The forum will be for web moderators to talk and such so feel free to post and register to help me out getting it started.

    The link doesn't seem to work. EDIT: Actually it looks like the server's down.

    Works for me - I like it too! I really like the black and green colour theme. It would look really cool if/when the discussion view theme matches the header.

    mm seem it works for some not others. It would be great if you could try again :P

    i think it would be better if you did not have the white space on the very top.

    MM ill see how it looks , how about i just make it smaller?

    looking at the screenshot - looks nice. ok, some constructive criticism....the florescent type green is a bit too sharp on my eyes....i much prefer things that are easier on my eyes. i like that fancy font used for the F......but you will need to work on that logo - ie decide if you want to go with two different fonts......and if you want to do some of the text in italic - eg the 'net' bit at the end....and of course which characters, if any, to put in a different colour (and what that colour might be) I am not sure about the double slashes ie // between your links to search, categories etc. i like your overall idea....it's really neat...it's just a case now of spending some time tying the logo/banner in to the rest of your vanilla page imho

    woops was meant to get rid of underscore, that shouldnt be there. Yeah the // was temporary until i knew what i was doing. Again the logo is temporary as i wasnt really making it for forummods it was just a theme i was going to use on one of my sites. Yeah just need to finish it.

    ok if you can get on you will see whitetop has gone and i have changed the links. There is a 1px line between each link. Just looks alittle nicer til i tihnk of something cool.

    I can access it now and I must say, I like it. My only criticism would be the top menu (Discussions | Categories | Search) looks a bit unfinished. I would definately like to see the finished version though.
