Hide discussion contents

I have a similar request as this:

This was posted as a question to the hosted version a couple years ago. I would like to show discussion titles on my category page, but send users to a "You must be registered to view this" message along with a registration link. Are there any plugins or ways to achieve something similar or is it still not possible?

ForceRedirect Plugin, you can configure to only show specific pages to guests else they get redirected to sign in
