ForceRedirect on individual discussion?

Is there any way to allow specific discussions to be allowed by ForceRedirect. It kinda seems like you can't, but just wanted to make sure I was understanding this correctly from the plugin instructions:

discussioncontroller=a specific discussion they can access by clicking the link on the discussions index

What this does is redirect from accessing a page. A controller is another name for page . You can redirect people from accessing the discussion page of any link on the discussions index page in general. Not specific discussions per say but the discussion page.
