All messages are in json format

I am new in vanilla. I am facing some errors in message display of my vanilla forum.
The messages are not in human readable format.We are getting all messages(which comes in pop-up) in json format.
My vanilla version is 2.0.18.10.
The messages I am getting are like {"FormSaved":false,"DeliveryType":"BOOL","Data":"MQ==","InformMessages":[],"ErrorMessages":"","RedirectUrl":""}

Please update to a secure version and see if the error persists.

Is there any other way to get it resolve without upgrading. Here in my site I found that most of the pages are coming as 404 not found in ajax call.

If you don't upgrade, you are leaving your site, and your users, vulnerable to malicious attacks, which is not very responsible.
