Vanilla forums don't work well in mobile views , eg :

Is there a theme which works ?

selecting the mobile theme just makes the entire site empty , sigh..
now using Embed-Friendly which looks decent in all views , however the default template file cannot be found ...
/public_html/escorts/themes/EmbedFriendly/views
removed the default template file and the site still shows
therefore the template file is hidden somewhere , where is it ?
It is hidden in plain sight ... Usually in the theme views folder , all my mobile themes work and you do not select them from the dashboard you enter the name of the mobile theme in the config.php manually . You should look in the tutorial section since all of this is explained there in depth.

There should also be a file in your default themes folder which explains this:
/themes/default/README.txt
My themes: pure | minusbaseline - My plugins: CSSedit | HTMLedit | InfiniteScroll | BirthdayModule | [all] - PM me about customizations
VanillaSkins.com - Plugins, Themes and Graphics for Vanillaforums OS
Vanilla forums work excellently in mobile view, therefore the onus is on you to explain what you have done to your installation, and what doesn't work as a result.
