Spoilers not working in main posts/the OP's post?

So, i'm having this problem, where spoilers are working just fine in comments and replies, but in the first post of a thread, they wont. Is there any simple way to make it work?

PS. I've followed the instructions in a question to make spoilers closable, so if the fix has to do with replacing the spoilers.js file, i would appreciate if you added that in... Thanks!

• which version number of plugin or
• version of vanilla you are using
• or which theme,
• or which editor
• or what change you made
• and a link to which discussion you are referring to and which chages were made.

But I can tell you I can create a spoiler in the fists post of a discussion, with my theme, editor, plugin and version of vanilla that I am using.

so if you provide more info perhaps we could suggest a fix.

Sorry that I'm so late with this
-I have vanilla forums version 2.1.6
-I use the theme leaf
-I use the default editor (no special plugins) with button bar.
-I replaced spoilers.js with the following link, and I un commented the line that disables button bar.

2 problems:

• You are using an outdated version of vanilla. Please update to 2.1.11 first.

• The second is not your fault: The spoilers plugin here is horribly outdated:
