Received spam PMs and now my inbox is permanently badged.

I received spam PMs over the weekend and I'm assuming the user and all of their messages were deleted. The problem now is that I have a "2" badged on my inbox and nothing will make it go away. Clicking it, navigating to my inbox, logging in fresh, etc.

Anyone know a fix for this? I can't handle the pressure of having badges on my things.
