    Just a query.. are those views cached and updated every couple of hours (or a predefined time)? Or are they updated every page load of that topic. If they arn't cached can that be included in a future version? Good extension btw :)

    Great idea for an extension. But its not showing up for me. Are there any additional steps need to activate it? Or any reported conflicts with other extensions that might be the cause of this?

    I'm pretty sure that this extension relies on a delegate that doesn't exist in the release version - only in svn.

    That should be mentioned on the extension page.

    Mark, I mentioned this requirement in extension readme. ADM, Discussion views are being updated during page load. Are there any caching method implemented in vanilla ? If it is i can work on it also, i am new to vanilla and i am trying to add good extensions. jimmiejo, Try to give "Discussion Counter Management" permission to your user group from roles section.

    I look at the roles section and i didn't find the "Discussion Counter Management". Is there anything to do, to show this item in roles section? Seems that this option was removed...

    I installed this extension recently. Strange this is, when I open a sticky topic it counts 2 views instead of one. When I've got a closed, sink discussion it counts 3 views when opening this discussion.
    To sum it up, the extensions counts every attribute of a discussion as an additional view.

    Normal view => 1 view
    Sticky|Closed|Sink|Private|Bookmark|hidden => 1 normal view + 1view => result 2 views

    e.g. a closed, sinked discussion would result in 1 (normal) + 1 + 1 => 3 views.

    I used wallphones method to replace the [sink], ... things with icons, if this is an important information. Is it a bug?

    I just saw that tamkun hasn't logged in since 20th of August. Any chance an experienced user is willing to take a look at it?

    Would be cool to have the discussion view counter. I think it would be a good feature.
