Another question,
Is it possible to use vanilla as content platform to deliver things like video tutorials and PDF files, things like that?

What do you have in mind by 'content platform'?
Videos can be embedded, and pdf (or other files) can be attached to posts in threads.
If you want something other than forum threads, maybe take a look at the Artilcles plugin http://vanillaforums.org/addon/articles-application which offers blog functionality in Vanilla.
Or you can create custom pages using the, er, Custom Pages plugin here: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/custompages-plugin
@whu606 'Content Platform' = a way I can allow users to see content like video tutorials and things like that. I will have a look at what you have suggested because they look like they will do the job!
