Custom CSS - Think im on the right lines

Hi

So Forum installed (SSO on a separate thread) I have created a custom theme so im following the suggested route for customisation and I have the custom.css file (no content yet) I use Chrome and IE for testing etc - So as an example I want to change the background colour in the header, change some of the font sizes in the discussions areas and I believe Custom.css is were I do this - any pointers appreciated. That's right.

Custom.css should override other css files, although there may be tiems when you need to add !important to get arule to have priority.

There is a series of annotated examples (for 2.1, but most still hold) here:
