Hi so still updating my theme my forum member will be a little older so I need to increase the font size change the colour and change the background colour in the top bar were the logo is - pointers appreciated - John B

If you are doing extensive customsiation, it would really benefit you to get the hang of using a web-inspector. That way you will be able to resolve these issues as they come up.
Essentially, using a web-inspector, you click over the element you want to edit, and you will be shown what css class it has.
That is all anyone who answers your question will have done.
You can try changes on the fly (non permanent) to see what you need to do.
