Configure what content is included in Notification Emails

Hello there,

We are using version 2.2 and I was wondering if there was a way to configure what content is included in Notification Emails?

Currently users get an email that shows the latest comment on a discussion. Their feedback was that there is little to no context so what they had requested was to see the entire thread, or perhaps some portion of the thread.
