Wordpress SSO e permessi utente su Vanilla

Buonasera a tutti,
ho installato e configurato un blog wordpress e un forum Vanilla e abilitato il SSO su entrambi stabilendo come "master" per gli utenti Wordpress.
Purtroppo però Vanilla sembra ignorare completamente le regole sui permessi impostate.
Come posso fare quindi per creare delle categorie riservate solamente ad alcuni utenti ?
