Messed up locales

I'm using the Locale Develloper plugin to translate Vanilla and some plugins. In Dashboard and config my locale is set to 'nl_NL', the files are in /locales/nl_NL and the file holding the translations is captured.php. When I'm done translating, what do I do with these files ? Rename ? Second thing: my month/day names are back to English. How do I set this back to Dutch ?
