Why does Registration ask for Captcha, when it's not enabled?

I've just tried to register a user account on our new forum, but straight away it says "To use reCAPTCHA you must get an API key from https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin".
This is really really bad. Why on earth add something if we are not told how to enable it and use it?

So how do I stop this being used, or even how do I punch in the codes that google gives me, as I see nothing in the Dashboard about doing this.

You have put this in Vanilla 2.0 help, but I assume you are using 2.2. 2.0 questions don't appear on the main page.

Please see this discussion, if you want to try to disable captcha.

Otherwise, simply register with Google for the keys, and add them via the Registration link in the Dashboard.

I get that it is frustrating, but please remember that most people on here who answer questions are not affiliated with Vanilla, so sounding cross can be a bit off-putting.
