Quotes Plugin Not Working with 2.2 Mobile View

The quotes plugin no longer works with 2.2 when in Mobile view. Are there any plans to update it?

How does it not work ? Can you see while using an agent switcher if there is js errors ?

if you select the quotes button it just pastes "null" into the editor.

I don't know what agent switcher is, sorry.

In order to inspect your mobile theme etc on your desktop you need to use a browser agent switcher extension which allows you to pretend to be a mobile or other device . They have them for all browsers .

I don't have time to debug and my guess is that the quotes plugin is just old and needs an update (last revision was 2013.)

ok, Oh I have no idea about this plugin, however the quotes that comes with vanilla does work…
I thought that is what you meant you were using. many plugins that were built by the vanilla staff are now packed with vanilla.

Try using those plugins..

Oh, duh. I am using the default quotes plugin v.1.6.1 with the default mobile theme. Maybe there is a plugin conflict, weird that it doesn't work.

The conflict would likely be js issues with other plugins. You will need to debug.

I changed the input format for the mobile theme in config file from "TextEx" to "BBCode" and it fixed the problem.
