Anyway to add a google analytics tracking URL params to the link in emails?

Hi All,

Vanilla sends a whole bunch of useful emails to users (new discussions, new comments, mentions etc). Each of these emails contains a link to the discussion.
We would like to be able to append the google analytics tracking parameters to the end of this generated link so we can track clicks in GA.

We can customise the header and footer, but we cannot find a way to add params to the link in the body.

For example:

Has anyone done this?
