Quote of quote doesn't work and is there a way to make quoting someone show a notification

Hello,
Few questions -
- Is there a way to make quote of quotes work?
- Can a notification be added to someone when they have been quoted?
- The members user number is shown in the quote, is this needed?
- Does vanilla forums.org use this plugin? it seems to work differently here>

This is a very old plugin.
Vanilla has a Quotes plugin in the core which you can enable from the dashboard.
If your users selected notification for mentions, they would be alerted if they are quoted, afaIk.
