Adding users manually

is there a way for Admin to add users manually ?

    If you're comfortable with going into the DB, you could just add a new row with the username, password, passwrod key, email, email key, then login as admin, approve the membership and viola.

    The user should then immediately go into their profile and change their password to create a hash instead of cleartext.

    This is untested, so if you want to try this, I'd setup a test forum and try it there first.

    And I'm sure someone could create an extension to do this, but unfortunately I don't have those type of skills yet.
