I setup a new db and user. When I click install I get the following error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user ' waste'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Welcome to the community.
I'd suggest you check the user credentials for your DB, and perhaps add another user to double check.

Tried that and even creating another db. I know that the localhost and the way I am using the usernames should work because I have another forum that is running fine on another db.
@whu606 Sorry forgot to say the other forum that I am using is SMF.
