Doesn't work in IE with SSL [RESOLVED]
Suzy
New
I've enabled WYSIWIG option in the Advanced Editor plugin and it works nicely, except in Internet Explorer. What I found was that IE won't load the plugin, with a message that "only secure content is displayed". I can't find the insecure content and so I don't know how to fix this. I did click to allow insecure content, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's causing problems for other people who want to write comments and I can't really ask them to allow insecure content - it's not a good look
Can anyone help me please?
Here's a link to the forum (it's new and still in trial phase. I haven't launched it publicly yet.)

If you press F12 in IE, you will get the Developer console.
If you check the Console tab you can see:
SEC7111: HTTPS security is compromised by http://xslt.alexa.com/site_stats/js/s/a?url=hotwhopper.com
chat.hotwhopper.com
SEC7111: HTTPS security is compromised by http://vanilla.com/applications/dashboard/design/images/sprites.png

Sadly, I can only find the errors!
Hopefully someone will be able to tell you how to resolve this.
Thank you whu606. I did try that but couldn't see anything like it in the console tab. However I did get rid of the alexa link and the WYSIWIG toolbar is working now, and I no longer get the security message in Explorer.
I also found that sprites thing which doesn't go anywhere except a 404 page. I have no idea where it came from. I did a search of the website and came up blank.
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be causing any problems, so I'll leave it alone.
Hi @Suzy
Glad you got it sorted.
Just in case you need it in the future, once the developer console is open, you need to refresh your page so it can capture the various events.
Oh - thanks for that tip, whu606.
