Best newsletter script? PHP preferred.

I'm looking for a basic newsletter php script. I'm talking just pure text to email feature.

I do want the option to manage people who have joined up, like edit or delete their details.. I don't want multiple newsletter management (like a lot of them provide).

So yeah.. something like how DokuWiki is the bare model of a wiki but for newletters, or a better one.. the Vanilla forum of newsletters ;)

    Actually another thing I would like is the ability to have it archive all newspapers to be able to be viewed publically.

    I was wanting something standalone but I possibly could tie it in to Vanilla if I can't find anything else.

    @ADM - I don't think you'd ever be disappointed by PHP List by Tin Can. It's open source, free, and much of what you just described. It doesn't have the public viewing option, but that could be solved by a simple post by mail function.

    I agree.........php list looks to be a great open source choice.

    The one major defect is that it is not standards compliant in the vanilla package, but it can be easily standardized.
