    i'm saving for the big switch as well, hopefully will get a g5 next year at some point... xp is just lame in comparison, seriously... (got a sweet g5 at work so i know)

    I've been happy w/ Ubuntu Linux, but looking forward to Symphony blossoming.

    Hopefully I'll be able to pick up a Mac laptop for my wife next year.

    especially with all the screenshots of longhorn and what not, macs just seem to make more sense nowadays. for me, anyway.

    Nothing special about my desktop either. My temp and rensat4 folder is just filled with stuff that I need to sort out sometime someday. One funny thing though is that rensat4 is filled with rensat3, rensat2 and so on ;)

    I'm a cheat really, I hid all my icons. Once a month or so I clear the desktop out. I think its due for another tidy, icons take up over half the screen
