Van2Shout Showing Loading Button Constantly

I'm very new here, and to Vanilla, so please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong section.

I've just installed Van2Shout 1.061, and it's working very well apart from one thing - When using Firebase and entering a chat, the send button disappears when clicked and shows the progress/loading button constantly, and I then have to press enter on my keyboard to post a chat.
