my forum does not send emails
i just installed vanilla on my shared hosting. but my forum does not send emails like confirmation email when a new user registers. i tried using SMTP but its the same

Ask your host... email works out of the box..

Sometimes those mails are treated as spam. Maybe they are sent, but they are not delivered to your mail account.
cant even find them in my spam
