Default Permissions

First off, just upgraded to Vanilla and am very happy with the the 1.0 experience so far. I needed to move my forums directory on my server and in the process of copying files from Point A to Point B, I confused the permissions within the /conf directory. A simple chmod 777 to everything in /conf seemed to make Vanilla happy -- is this the recommended running configuration? Again, nice upgrade. Where do I send the check?

    I'm sure mark wouldnt mind if you paypalled him some money. I do believe the suggested permissions are 644 so give them a go and see if they work for you.
