Why Are Discussions Closed Immediately After Posting Them?

Why are my discussions CLOSED immediately after posting them? Please help. I need to my discussions to be permanently open for people to comment on it.

    It's not the way it should.
    It's maybe a misconfiguration.
    Have ypu tried disable all plugins?

    I disable all plugins. the same problem. all discussions are automatically closed immediately they are posted. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!

    My first guess is that the Discussion table has a wrong default value for the column "Closed". You should ensure that the default value is "0".

    If that's not the case, you would have to test some more things like:
    Is it only happening to you or also for every other user?
    Can you reopen those closed discussions?

    I had to uninstall the script and re-install a fresh copy of script again and the issue was solved. thanks for ur efforts
