ApplicantEmailVerification

edited August 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Just testing this add-on: ApplicantEmailVerification

The applicant went through the email verification process OK, and the admin (moi) got all the right notifications, however when I denied membership, (it was only a test) I was expecting the applicant to get some sort of message saying that his application was not successful.

Is there in fact supposed to be such a notification to a denied applicant? One was not received.

Comments

  • I don't think I touch anything the decline application process. Did it send an email before?
  • Don't know Dinoboff, I had never used it before today, is it supposed to send one?
    There does not appear to be a Dictionary entry for a decline, only this...
    $Context->Dictionary['EmailVerificationRegister'] = 'Your application for membership has been accepted.';
  • If the default role allow access to the forum, you get this message on the screen after activation to say that you can access the forum. If the default role is applicant, after activation you get $Context->Dictionary['EmailVerificationDonePendingApproval'], that say that you have to wait for the approval of an admin.

    When I will update Email Verification, I will see If I can't add a notification when your are denied for membership.
