Login/Logout Issue

Hi, Thanks for the lovely theme. However, I am having issues with Login/Logout.
- After a new user register on my site, he/she is directed to homepage and then instead of being 'log in' the normal site appears with login and register options. However, when they click on individual posts, they are shown to be 'logged in'. Can you please help?
- Despite being 'logged in' mode, the 'Register' option still appears on the panel.
