LatestBlog 1.0 Beta

edited August 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
This is a great extension but the 5 blog posts listed are not the 5 latest, they are simply the 5 listed at the top of the XML feed file. My xml is created by an application that lists podcast episodes in no particular order, it is then up to the feed-reader (e.g. iTunes) to order the episodes. I reordered the episodes by hand and the extension listed the latest 5 posts correctly, however, every time I add an episode, the list order gets scrambled again. Is there any way the extension can be made smart enough to actually look at the dates before listing? Failing a fix, anyone know of a quick way to re-order the <item> entries in an XML document?
