Getting reCAPTCHA failure on Approval method

It says on my approval registration form: 'reCAPTCHA has not been set up by the site administrator in registration settings. This is required to register.'

But I thought this was only for the Basic application? I'm using the Approval method, so this shouldn't be showing up should it?

How can I get rid of this?
